Local food waste stakeholders will gather at the Mule on Thursday, August 27th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm to network, enjoy light bites and free swag, and hear more about the new School Food Rescue Toolkit created by the City of Asheville and Buncombe County. Please join us for this free event!

The School Food Rescue Toolkit

Buncombe County and The City of Asheville will debut their School Food Rescue Toolkit, a compilation of resources for stakeholders associated with Asheville City Schools and Buncombe County Schools to more easily navigate legal protections, local partnerships, and creative solutions to combat food waste and rescue in our local school systems. Paper and electronic copies will be available at the event.
